Where Are You Christmas
Where are you Christmas? Why can't I find you?
I'm here in the gift of a cherished friend
I’m here in the smile of a stranger
I'm here in a baby's laugh
I'm here in the nuzzle of a favorite pet
I can be seen in the twinkle of stars in night sky
I can be seen in the eyes of true love
I can be seen in bright white fallen snow
I can be seen in the children's play
I am felt in the warmth from the fire
I am felt in the open doors of church
I am felt in a comforting hug
I am felt through each beat of your heart.
I found you Christmas
You are right in front of me
I found you Christmas
You are all around me
I found you Christmas
Wrapped around my soul
I found you Christmas
You were with me all along.

by streetlights casting their

It won't be the same this year for me,
Without hit presence under the tree,
I don't mind
Simple Gifts
She sits in a corner, alone
A string of saliva slowly creeps down a crease in her wrinkled, time-worn face.

Christmas Alone
Christmas time has come & gone in the blink of an eye
Like standing on a platform, as your train flashes
