Whenever you meet someone, give them a card. Another avenue to market on paper is making brochures and distributing them to your mailing list. This tells potential customers what you are about and what you have to offer. A similar paper marketing device is sending a newsletter or flyer to your mailing list. Be sure to include discount coupons and information on specials in your written materials.

2. Similar to marketing on paper is marketing through paper. For this form of marketing your home-based business, you will send out press releases about your home business to newspapers, local magazines, and local newsletters. through these you will reach those who gain their information through paper.

3. Website marketing is important too. A website is essential to most businesses these days. today people generally look for business on line before looking them up in the phone book. You don't want them to find your competitor and not you when they search on line. Be sure to give readers of your website an easy way to purchase your product or an easy way to get in touch with you if you are offering a service.

4. Social media sites are also valuable and helpful to home businesses for getting the word out about what you have to offer from your home business. The unique quality of these social media sites is that they give you the opportunity to have a conversation with your customers. If you have a blog, you can provide them with useful information.

5. Customer service. Indirectly, customer service is one of the best ways to increase what you earn. Throughout the years companies have looked for ways to cut costs. In the process, they have substituted technology for employees. when you have a question, you find your answer through an endless loop of pushing this and that button on the phone. the company that gives  personalized service and acts as if it care about the happiness and satisfaction of its customers will be more apt to find and retain a loyal following.
