When it's hot outside, Nashville seems to come alive with great summer activities. There is so many different, fun things to do, you are sure to find plenty to keep you entertained. Some of the best things to do are:

NASHVILLE SHORES                                                                                 

Cool off and enjoy your day at Nashville Shores. Sitting on Percy Priest Dam,  enjoy 14,000 acres of fun in the sun with areas to picnic and swim. Boat rentals are available for an additional fee. Special events for Independence Day feature live music, fireworks, parades, and more. You'll find water slides, swimming pools and more.

MOVIES IN THE PARK
Movies in the park are featured at many parks, churches, and other areas throughout the city. It is free, and you'll get to enjoy a movie for the whole family while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.

NASHVILLE SOUNDS BASEBALL
Head down to Greer Stadium and catch Nashville's minor league baseball team in action. Meet the team mascot-Grizzly. You can take advantage of specials every day of the week, that include free and discounted admissions and discounted merchandise.

NASHVILLE FARMERS MARKET
Ask anyone in Nashville how to spend a Saturday, and chances are, they will tell you The Farmer's Market. Located right beside Bicentennial Mall, you can easily spend the entire day visiting the many different vendors, stores, and farmers inside. You can also catch the flea market, with new and used items from around the world. The Farmer's Market is also home to many great restaurants, including Swett's.

NASHVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY             
The library offers many activities to keep your child entertained while school is out. Puppet shows, magicians, story times, and a summer reading program all offer a fun and learning adventure for your children. Best of all, it is free.
