Dragon Age: Origins is a RPG that is released on Xbox 360 and PS3. There was a lot of hype for this game when it was announced but has it live up to it.
PLOT: You are Gray Warden, the last of a special soldiers that could save the world. You choose if you are a human, elf or a dwarf at the beginning of the game and watch as your home gets destroy by Darkspawn. You are safe by a gray warden and he teaches you the way to become a gray warden. All the choices you make in the game cause the outcome, kill anyone or save everyone. B
GAME PLAY: You go anyone you want in the land. You are also with other gray wardens and you can switch to control them during the game, which is a nice change but the problem with the game is the fighting. The fighting is dull and repetitive, the same button bashing to fight and you can't pull off combos in the game. The game should have spend a few extra months on the fighting system. C-
GRAPHICS- The game looks beautiful and you can't get bore at staring at the landscape as you journey the world. The game is bloody and after you have killed a enemy the blood is seen all over the characters clothes and face. The game really lives up to the expectation of the next gen consoles and it should be proud. B
VERDICT- Dragon Age: Origins is a good game even though the story seems like a Lord of the Rings and the land is like Middle Earth and the cites sound like the cities in Lord of the Rings. The fighting is not as good as expected ( least it's not like Final Fantasy fighting). Dragon Age: Origins had a big hype before it was released and I feel that it has done that and well. The game is good at the way everything you do causes an outcome. You have choices who join your team or leave them to die.
Dragon Age: Origins is a good game and I strongly recommend it for anyone who likes Lord of the Rings and Role-Playing games. I have a feeling that there may be more games in this story and would look forward to them.
My final grade for this game is: B and it is fully deserved.
