Poetry: Smiles

by Crystal Elizabeth Webb

Created on: December 17, 2009

Exchanging Smiles.

They say a smile
is contagious -
I believe it is true.
'Cause today you
sent a smile my
way and I couldn't
help but to smile
 ~ right back at you.

They say a smile
is worth
a thousand words;
at least that many
went through
my head this
afternoon ~
When you looked
my way; lovely,
even in the blustery,
winter wind ~
and offered me
a very warm and
friendly smile.
