I am standing on the crossroads
Every path has a different direction,
Which one am I to choose?
Which way am I to take?
I need to know where to go,
I need to know what to do.
Every where I look
Every path I see,
Is so tempting
Who do I want to be?
I have a blur image in my mind,
I do not know if the right path I can find.
There are so many twists and turns
I am afraid I may loose my grip,
There are many things to side track me
If I fail, I am sure to trip.
I need to stay focused,
Myself I need to trust.
I am standing in the middle of the road
I either go my way or,
Where ever the crowd takes me
I need to find the right door.
Life is something to enjoy,
But it is not a toy.
So far I have been sacrificing my future
And it is at stake,
I let go of the main aim
For petty desire's sake.
It seems I am going for a ride,
But no longer downhill to the ground.
The captain is now in command
Because it is never too late,
The course of my ship I will decide
So I am setting myself straight.
I am standing on the crossroads,
I will decide where to go.
There are many side tracks
I understand now,
There are many detours
But I will not bow.

A familiar face, yes I've definitely seen you before.
Last time I trusted your beautiful face,
But this time do I want to
I take off my shoes in class.
My socks? I debate.
They're still wet,
still clammy.
A cold, hard, unforgiving desk
pressed against
A writing not conducive to
The words I want to say
An end that I will not pursue
A place I will not stay.
A resignation in some
