Kinder Chocolate comes in several varieties including Kinder Bueno, Kinder Surprise, and Happy Hippos. It is a highly popular choice of chocolate bar, not just for kids but also for adults. In fact, from working in shops I've seen many more adults buy Kinder Chocolate, whereas the kids tended to go for Cadbury chocolate or sweets.
The chocolate itself whether on a Bueno, a Surprise Egg or a Country Crisp is fairly consistent, with the same texture, taste and colour on all products in the Kinder family, unlike Cadbury, Nestle and Mars where the chocolate taste can vary depending on the chocolate bar. Kinder Chocolate has a very pleasing look to it, a good solid brown, milk chocolate colour, always presented in nice packaging, and usually intact when you open the packet, you don't usually have to worry about your Kinder bar crumbs falling everywhere.
The taste of Kinder Chocolate is superior to the other brands on the market. It is lighter because of the higher quantities of milk used in production, which also makes it creamier. I'm sure there's just as much sugar in the Kinder Chocolate as there is in any other chocolate but I find that it doesn't hurt my teeth as much as other chocolate sometimes does. It doesn't seem as sweet, which makes it far more enjoyable and less sickly than a lot of other chocolate currently available.
While it seems that other brands are drastically reducing the size of their bars while at the same time pushing uo the price, the portion of Kinder Chocolate remains the same. The Kinder Surprise Egg I could have bought five years ago, would be the same size as the one I can buy now. And while I'm mentioning the Kinder Surprise Egg, this is a form of hollow chocolate that contains a plastic capsule, which itself contains a toy. This may sound like a fun treat for kids but the catch is that the toy is to be made by the child, and is usually not worth the effort. Still, its a very tasty piece of confectionary and its always fun to have our treats come in different shapes and size.
The Kinder Bueno seems to be the most popular of the Kinder family. It is a bar of two fingers, which has four pieces each. Its a wafer bar, covered in Kinder Chocolate and has a delicious creamy filling. The eight squares are sometimes not enough, the bar is one of the tastiest bars on the market, though it is one of the more expensive ones out there.
The Country Crisp can be quite nice in the morning for a coffee break, or for a small break at school. It has biscuit and cereal pieces and is once again covered in Kinder Choclate. It is a little chewy and a little crunchy which is good for anyone who likes more than one texture in their mouth at the same time.
The Happy Hippo is actually just a wafer and cream filling treat, there is no Kinder Chocolate, except a slight ribbon wrapping around the bar. Its a very good choice for young children, its a small size and without the chocolate covering is a less sugar laden treat for little teeth.
Whatever you decide to treat yourself too when you're having a sugar craving, something form the Kinder brand would be a good option. There's lots to choose from and they all taste great. Satisfaction guarnteed!
