CHAPTER ONE

THE FLARESWORDS

The Silverton Island, most commonly known as the Holy island, was situated on the central seas, off the south-eastern coast of Dellfelldell. The island had beauty that no land, ocean or sky could ever compare to, be as it may, it brought tears and smiles to many of the Evalenders who would lay their eyes upon the graceful sight, yet the Evalenders never truly experienced the real beauty of the island, which of course was found inside of the magnificent castle that was located on the island.

The Holy island had been abandoned for three decades; during the time line of this story all of the people who had entered the Silverton castle prior to this tale were dead. It was said that the high god himself built the castle and that it was created to symbolize eternal holiness. For millenniums Evalenders embraced the castle, but in recent decades the situations had changed; Most of the Evalenders could not find this holy characteristic within themselves, and preferred to stay as far away from the Silverton castle as possible, thus the golden sands were left without any footprints and the granite doors of the castle remained sealed.

The red hooded girl, Tamryn, stretched her muscles; it had been a long journey indeed. The kitten, which was named Pawnick, purred as it brushed himself against her leg. Tamryn picked him up and stroked his flaming fur.

“A thirty year cycle, I believe it was, that we have just broken?” she said.

Allaana chuckled sweetly, embracing the dream come true.

“So ladies, here we are!” she announced. “I think it’s safe to say that the first part of our mission has safely been accomplished, this will be our home for a short while.”

Tamryn snorted.

“You’re joking, right?”

Allaana said nothing.

“Allaana you can’t be serious, you said nothing about us actually living here, do you know what you’re saying? This is the Silverton
