Many of us don't want or need a fancy website that requires constant administration and customization. If you are looking for a page to store pictures, write journals, and keep your friends and family informed of the latest and greatest information on YOU, then look no further than some modern community web spaces.

Blogging, short for Web Logging, seems to be the most popular method for a personal web space. And with good reason. Sites like MySpace, Microsoft Live Spaces and Blogger give users their own web page which can easily be updated with photos and writing while allowing friends to leave comments.

I would highly recommend either of these three sites to anyone new to the personal web-space world. Many other great sites exist though, and a simple on-line search will churn them up. To sign up, simply go to one of the pages listed above and follow the instructions on creating a new page.

Once your space is created, tell your family, tell your friends, tell the world! Oh, and while you're at it, enjoy posting tidbits of your life to your new personal virtual home.
