The Sleep Over

On a farm summer is one of the best times for adventures. For Beth and her best friend Ashlee it was a very special time. Cause school was out and it was time for fun. But little did they know this summer was going to be one of the best summers of their lives. It would be one of adventure of wonder, laughter, joy, a little sadness, and a lot of love between the two friends.

On the last day of school there adventure would begin. With a traditional sleep over, this year it would be at Beth's house. And since it was so hot, they decided to have there sleep out side and camp out. They worked all that evening on getting the big sleep over/camp out ready. They put up their tent. fixed their beds, gathered up fire wood, dug their fire pit, picked their roasting sticks, gathered up their snacks,got their jars for the fire fly,got an old bucket for worms, and got their fishing poles ready for the next day.

When they got done they went into the house and took their baths, ate their supper and help clean up the kitchen. Then it was time for their sleep over.

The first thing that they did was look for worms. Beth filed the bucket up half way with dirt while Ashlee found the flash lights. Then the girls set out to find the best worms Beth's yard had to offer.

Everything outside was quite. Except the frogs croaking, grass hoppers singing, and Beth's Ma and Pa talking on the porch. All the sudden Ashlee yelled, "I fount the first one!" Beth replied,"Yeah, but I will get the biggest one." and the two friends laughed.

After a while they got all the worms they needed and decided that it was time to catch fire fly. So they put the lid on the worm bucket grabbed their jars and set out to catch their fire fly. As Beth and Ashlee ran, jumped, slided, fell, talked, and laughed. Ma and Pa was cutting into a big juicy watermelon. The girls caught their fire fly and put the lads on their jars, just as Pa yield at them to come eat some fresh watermelon.

As they was eating their watermelon Beth got a big smile on her face and started spiting seeds at everyone. And Ma spit a seed at Pa and it stuck on his head. Ashlee got a seed stuck on her cheek, Ma had them all over her face and arms. Beth was hiding behind ma so she didn't have any on her. Till all the sounded Ma spun around and grabbed her. Then Pa and Ashlee spit them all over Beth. They was all over her face, arms, legs in her hair and on her chest. Then all of them set and laughed about it.

After they got cleaned
