Sometimes, I find a really unique app in the App Store that makes me wonder how the developers could have come up with such a gaming concept. So, when I came across FingerMingle, I was pleasantly surprised with the new and refreshing gaming concept, even though I have probably heard of something similar in real life. At any rate, I would say that FingerMingle has its pros and cons, and definitely merits the 99 cents on its price tag.
Graphics
If you are expecting complex, full 3D graphics, you will not get that with FingerMingle. Even though the graphics are not just cartoonish, and neither are they remotely "bad," you will find that they are simplistic at best. This might be a good thing, especially since the gaming concept behind the app is very simple. So, with that in mind, FingerMingle deserves a score of 7 on a score of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, in terms of graphics. However, keep in mind that even really great graphics can't save a fundamentally bad game.
Gaming experience
I have to admit that FingerMingle is a unique game. I have never really encountered another app with the same gaming concept. So, when I began playing FingerMingle, I was excited and very engaged. I played this app for at least 30 minutes, and I did not get bored. I also decided to play it with someone else, so that the gameplay would be even more interesting. The obstacles are also a great feature of the game that makes the game even more difficult (which, in this case, is a good thing, otherwise the app would be too easy and would get boring too quickly).
There is some lagging, but it is not consistent and there are no crashes. So, overall, I am happy with the quality of the app itself. The experience of playing the app is hassle- and frustration-free, which means that I can enjoy the gameplay even more so.
Recommendation
This is a great game for people of all ages. You can play it anytime, whether you are in class and you are bored (which I do not condone, of course!) or if you are waiting in line at the bank. FingerMingle is inexpensive and costs only 99 cents, and it is an app that absolutely delivers what the developers say it should deliver.
