An independent study was done recently that said you have the same chance of getting cancer from an E-Cigarette as you do eating cooked food (not only meat, but vegetables and fruit too) that has been seared or browned. So should we stop eating cooked food? Absolutely not, and it seems that the FDA have strong (and rich) friends in the tobacco industry making sure that E-Cigarettes are kept down while tobacco is viewed as better than it's safer alternative. I recently bought and started using Blu E-Cigarettes, and I've never been happier after 2 months of being tobacco free. So, as Violet Beauregarde in the 1971 film, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, put it,"What's so fab about it?"...the safety of e-cigarettes compared to tobacco that is...not 3-course dinner gum.
The most notable thing about Blu is that after one month of use I am able to workout at the gym without getting winded so easily. I'm also not wheezing or coughing up phlegm anymore. Every breath is sweet and appreciated now. Even though the tobacco industry has implemented,"Fire Safe Cigarettes" (which is, no joke in the least bit, carpet glue) still cause fires killing smokers and non smokers alike. The E-Cigarette has the same fire hazard as a double A battery in a remote control, or a child's toy. Another interesting observation I've made is that within the first 24 hours of E-Cigarette use, tobacco takes on a bad taste. I tested this using tobacco after the first day of starting on Blu E-Cigarettes, and at the end of the first week. it actually tasted bad enough, that I couldn't take more than two drags off of the cigarette before having to get rid of it. One other difference (probably the biggest) is the difference in chemical composition of the smoke versus the vapor. While tobacco smoke is filled with thousands of deadly chemicals, the vapor only has food additives. Hmmm...arsenic and rat poison...or water and artificial flavoring...?
On top of the health benefits I've been able to note, there are other positives that go unnoticed until you actually stop using tobacco. For one, you actually save money using E-Cigarettes rather than tobacco. Where I live, a carton of cigarettes goes for about 55 dollars. A carton of E-Cigarette cartridges (25 total with one cartridge equaling a pack of cigarettes) from Blu is 25 dollars, and if you buy two cartons (equaling 50 cartridges, or 50 packs of cigarettes) is 45 dollars.
