GROWING OLD IS MORE PRECIOUIS THAN GOLD

Growing old is more precious than gold,

You see, it means old age is a rare treasure held by few.

Growing old is more precioius than gold.

 As the hair  blends into gray, I can truly say.

Growing old is more precious than gold.

     The Great Creator blessed those of age to be able to share.

     Their wealth of experience with those coming along the way.

      The wisdom shines out from under the hair of gray.

Growing old is more precious than gold.

You see, it means old age is a rare treasure held by few.

Growing old is more precious than gold.

 As the hair blends into gray, I can truly say,

 Growing old is more precious than gold.

     Life is a treasure which cannot be measured.

     As we grow older day by day,

     We live and learn to accept that which comes our way.

Growing old is more precious than gold.

 You see, it means old age is a rare treasure held by few.

  One can only attest, that he or she  truly been blessed 

  To celebrate another year with family and friends.

  All the while wishing that life would never end.

As the hair blends into gray, and a wrinkle here and there wants to stay,

It's okay- because growing old is more precious than gold.
