Basket
I sat
Pondering what could be within that tiny basket-
wondering what could be contained in its body.
Though they told me not to look.
All I had to do was keep watch over that basket-
all I had to do was keep its lid firmly closed.
To make sure nobody could look.
It got the best of me,
and I the worst of it will see.
Tragedy sprung out from there,
though what's worse is I did not care.
I opened the basket of sin.
