The idea of Helium, and websites like it, is to produce a database of information. Therefore, when thinking about titles, a writer needs to think of titles that will easily be found on a search by those interested in the topic, and also to produce titles that encourage others to add their article within the framework of that topic. It's more important than that though. Producing a title isn't just about other writers. It is about who finds it and what the SEO value of the article is.
SEO means Search Engine Optimization, but put into simple words means "How many people will search for that title, and eventually to reading the article. The more people read it, the more that title is likely to earn.
Headings that are of a personal nature don't encourage additions, and it should be noted that with regard to Books, Movies and Music articles, there is a standard site layout. Looking at the area you are interested in first may help you to design your title to fit the site better than guesswork. For example:
Movie review: Followed by title (and year if there are several)
Music review: Followed by artist and title
Book review: Followed by author and title
Accurate titles are essential to the development of the site, and to the search engines used to find articles within the site framework, and also to searches made through sites like Google. To optimize written work on the site, the title is essentially the door which opens up the possibilities of earning.
Keywords are the key to success on a site like Helium. The reason is because if these are not used to maximum potential, articles and areas of the site cannot be found in a search.
Keywords.
To insert keywords correctly, these should be words relevant to the article and each word should be written with a comma between them. Many people complain that items cannot be found whilst inserting keywords in a number of ways which are ineffective.
Word Comma Word Comma Word Comma Word
These are essential and your attention to detail makes a difference.
Other ways of maximizing search engine results is by using great url phrases. Different perhaps from the title, these give writers a chance to try other permutations of words which may draw readers into reading their article. Search engines pick up particular phrases, and often writers mistake this area for meaning keywords, although in this case, the url phrase should be a simple and straightforward phrase.
With a little effort, it is simple for a Helium user to boost their article's potential and choosing those topics which are currently being searched for helps in the process. If you go to sites such as Google trends, you will see what the top searched areas are, and these help you to decide what to write to, to get potential SEO value from your articles.
