Its been a long time
Since the sun has shined so bright

Its been a long time
to long I can not remember the scent of summer in the air
the laughter and the sweat drops on your back

Its been a long time since i have see you shuffle
about beneath  my finger tips

its been a long time
my shy gone, My love as
bright as the reflections in your eyes

Its been a long time i forget to smile
and i wince at the bitter air.

its been a long time that i don't remember
life without photographs
my mind a camera my hands focus and my heart the shutter.

its been so long i forget the sight of the roses that
sprout up and catch the rays of the sun

Its been a long time
we spin and spin losing sight of the
focus of the ground,
dizzy we grew
Its been a long time.
