I see things differently as I look back.
I can’t see how I got so far off track.
Love is what my life lacks.
These are true and unfortunate facts.
From never once having a dad.
To all the things in life that made you mad.
To all the things in life that makes you sad.
To all the things that made me bad.
Why is the good life what I never had?
My only salvation was and is a pen and a pad.
Looking back I see a lot of mistakes.
Looking back I see a lot of missed breaks.
Some things I could have done neater.
Just things I could have done to make life sweeter.
I could have been more precise.
I should have gotten the right advice.
I should have checked more than twice.
I should have been more right.
I should have tried harder with all my might.
I should have put up a harder fight.
Looking back I no longer see the same.
Looking back I now know I am not only to blame.
I now see the chains; I now know your name.
The new world order has brought the rain.
They are not making it easier that’s why we all strain.
Looking back its time for a change.
Its time we all went for a new range.
Its time we all stopped this senseless pain.
Looking back I think I can get a better score.
Looking back I think I can do better than before.
Looking back I could have fought for more.
Looking back I wouldn’t have been such a hor.
I would have tried to make more money.
So I wouldn’t have been so damn poor.
I would have fought and fought like a wild boar.
Looking back I would have chose a different door.
Looking back I would have tried to be a smarter child.
No way should I have been so damn wild.
Looking back I would have changed a lot.
Maybe I would have been a cop.
Maybe my life would have had a plot.
Maybe I would have had a better position, a better spot.
Just maybe I would have had a better shot.
Maybe I wouldn’t get caught. Maybe so, maybe not.
Looking back I had a blast.
I just wish it didn’t go by so fast.
I could never change being young.
But looking back hopefully I won’t be so dumb.

Elusive signs...
Hindsight is a gift
that every one of us can use
to travel back in time
and find invaluable clues
The signposts
Looking back over our yesterdays can be bitter-sweet and to journey back can fill us
with both gladness and a sadness for
History
A story of things past.
Somethings that have happened,
That are now cast.
There is no changing,
So why reminisce?
No need
I remember being young
And the pleasure that I had.
When life was good and romance was new
And the thrill of seeming bad.
Not

Pacing days to fit into a scheduled
