Lord, How Much Longer?
.
The super-power foretold
Emerged o’er the ocean.
They all have now signed
The dreaded Lisbon Treaty.
.
I keep a watchful eye,
As the events unfold,
And think about the fig tree,
In the parable He told.
.
I wait in joyous patience,
Like an adopted child waiting,
To see her real Father’s face,
For the very first time.
.
I ponder, how much longer
Must Israel wait for peace?
I ask God in prayer, to
Please speed peace to them.

by Jenny Smith
I ask for love and acceptance
Something to look forward to at home
You took away my key
Now I'm sitting in the rain all alone
I ask, in this moment,
Don't let my children suffer for my mistakes,
Don't let them know hunger or strife,
Nor sorrow nor
Confronted with deep questions
About my existence, I ask
“Why am I here?” “Why did I exist?”
