The Forgotten Father
.
The taught values have faded
And lessons of youth, gone.
Were they ever real, or
Just a fleeting illusion?
.
The universal Father, soon
Forgotten in this dimension,
And discarded from life,
Watches his children, in dismay.
.
The scattered siblings are
Living their own way
Riches they acquire, and
Claim the glory for them.
.
When all is lost, and
They are no longer sitting
In the catbird seat, they’ll
Seek the Father and ask, “Why?”
.
Just look in the mirror,
My friend, and there you
Will see who’s to blame
Staring back at you.

I closed the door behind me
And entered into my world
You sat at the corner Waiting for
