Like An Apple Tree

A student is like the
Young apple tree, with
Buds of wisdom that grow
And improve each year.

In the twelfth season,
A wise, mature student
Looks to the future,
As a tree reaching up.

College years beckon,
Like a market waiting
For the polished apple,
Now shining star bright.
