Snowflakes
.
Dark snow clouds hover,
Concealing the sun’s rays.
Mother Earth patiently waits
For her clean, white blanket.
.
I hear Rudolph galloping
Through the attic, so it seems.
The vibrations resonate
As the roof turbines spin.
.
Huge flakes drift in the wind.
They’re swallowed by the grass.
In the blink of an eye,
Light raindrops follow.
.
Only the dark clouds linger.
The snow flakes are gone, and
I don’t hear Rudolph galloping.
Was it only a daydream?

A small puff of vapor,
Breathed birth from the ebony sky,
With milky crystal arms and legs,

How they jovially flew
How they flickered so white
How they blurred
