The Blood Avenger
You have no idea,
And I fervently pray that you never do,
You have no idea,
What horrors I’ve seen and been a witness to.
You are a child,
In your innocence and wide eyed trust,
You are a child,
With no thought or knowledge of God’s disgust.
O’ my LORD, what have we done?
I’ve seen the world aflame, all burning down,
Angels in obsidian armor glinting in the sun,
And heard the baying of Hell’s hunting hound.
Your mercy we have squandered all away,
All away, Sweet Jesus, all away!
I am a hammer,
Hardest of outlook and bleaker of soul,
I am a hammer,
Soon to be loosed; death bells then to toll.
Cry for me now,
For I see visions of scarlet, flowing blood,
Cry for me now,
Amidst the shattered, blasted dead I’ve stood.
O’ my LORD, what have we done?
I’ve seen the world aflame, all burning down,
Angels in obsidian armor glinting in the sun,
And heard the baying of Hell’s hunting hound.
Your mercy we have squandered all away,
All away, Sweet Jesus, all away!
Weep and call to God,
Oh ye who seek coming vistas of shining peace,
Weep and call to God,
Before He’s forced to loose His terrible beasts.
You cannot hide,
From the wrath to come, for I have seen it all,
You cannot hide,
From the ravening fangs, or the deepening pall.
O’ my LORD, what have we done?
I’ve seen the world aflame, all burning down,
Angels in obsidian armor glinting in the sun,
And heard the baying of Hell’s hunting hound.
Your mercy we have squandered all away,
All away, Sweet Jesus, All away!
Why do we seek,
The easy paths to strife and grievous sorrow,
Why do we seek,
For all that brings us to shame on sin’s morrow.
How He must cry,
To see the evil we all so eagerly run to wreak,
How He must cry,
For His willfully lost children; for we brutal sheep.
O’ my LORD, what have we done?
I’ve seen the world aflame, all burning down,
Angels in obsidian armor glinting in the sun,
And heard the baying of Hell’s hunting hound.
Your mercy we have squandered all away,
All away, Sweet Jesus, all away!

Why are you not listening?
Why do you not care?
Are you looking down on me?
Are you even there?
I wish that you would answer
That
God is there, I know not where
But I am sure He lives
He's with me in my darkest hours
He loves and He forgives

Some roads will lead us up steep hills,
