When it comes to gift shopping for your wife, you have nothing to worry about - because in so many ways, women are so very easy to shop for!  We are satisfied with anything from jewelry, to chocolates, to nostalgic trinkets, and yes, even electronics.  Clothes are iffy, only because unless you know your wife's sense of style, you might be buying her something that she vows she loves because she doesn't want to hurt your feelings, but she'll never wear it outside the house.

But if you're truly stumped on what would wow her the most this year, it's time to do some brainstorming. 

Here are some questions to consider:

1. What are your wife's hobbies  and interests?  This is where you have to think outside of the box.  If she is very passionate about collecting knick-knacks, don't just add another one to her collection - build her a decorative shelf, instead.  If she is an avid knitter, how about a personalized tote bag to use as a knitting bag - and have photos of your kids and perhaps grandkids printed on it?  If she likes traveling (hopefully with you), buy her something that pertains to fond memories of a time you went somewhere special - a travel book, a painting or poster, something that the area is famous for, etc.

2. What activities do you both enjoy as a couple?  Save any romantic notions for Valentine's Day - this includes candles, lingerie, or anything for your bedroom.  What you're going for here is being thoughtful on her behalf.  If you like the outdoors, sports, shopping, dining out, live performances - those are all opportunities for you to find her something that she can use while with you, or to remind her of you when she's not.  If you go camping a lot, why not get her a picnic basket or picnic backpack, or a snuggly sleeping bag for two?  An electric blanket for nights when you watch a movie at home can be a nice touch.  If you are still having problems deciding, you can always get her a gift certificate to her favorite store, take her there, and let her pick out something special.

3. Has she been dropping any hints or have any dire needs?  There is nothing more frustrating than a husband who doesn't pick up on his wife's suggestions.  It's something that you have to be aware of year-round for greater impact, so you catch her off-guard.  Talk to other family members or friends for ideas.  Chances are you'll be
