Promoting net articles can be an irretating thing to accomplish.  Espetially for the individuals who intend on gaining help from those who haven't had too much experiance writing on the net.  You know, those guys that advise traffic exchanges for every little thing.  Those guys get my heart pumping.  Lets get something straight.  Traffic exchages will rarely wrok for online writing sites.  This because so many of them are fused with adsense now that it, of course, the site that you may write for may restrict traffic exchanges as a traffic source.  Who knows how they do it, but they get it done some how. 

Using traffic exchanges will undoubtedly be terrible esspecially if you're expecting revenue from ads placed on your articles.  One traffic exchange site will bann an aritlce submition sit if it has been placed in the network over a certain amount of time if that site posses ads for adsense, or any other PPC based ad system that can be placed on your web content.  Now, a good method for creating traffic for your web article content is to use social networking.  Now, granted; this method can be time draining.  Even still, at the end of the day, you'll be incredibly joyed to know that you went along with this method.  

One of the best reasons to go along with social network advertising for your articles is simply because of the shear numbers that social networks bring to different sources of net content.  For example, facebook uses certain methods to aid in gaining web traffic for content on the net.  They use their own sort of PPC ad, but it doesn't bring in any revenue besides what they already gain from selling their adspace.

Using traffic exchages, other than targetted ones, won't get you very far in the traffic building buisness.  But that's something most individuals won't know about until they gain a bit more experiance.  Using social net working rescourses like facebook, myspace, mylot and more can tremendously increase your views.  Also, social bookmarking will be helpful as well.  Using sites like Digg to post links on your newest articles, presreleases and other such content will be the greatest way to get more people to know about your content.  Also, Vinefire will be effective for promoting many different forms of that you produce.
