God took some oxygen,
Totally pure,
Mixed in some nitrogen,
And gave it a stir.
The Bible calls this firmament.
It was made on the 2nd day.
We call it atmosphere.
It's where we work and play.
Then God created vegetation,
And Plants yielding seed.
To replenish our atmosphere,
With the oxygen we need.
Then God took some time,
And he took a lump of clay.
And he built him a man.
This was on the 6th day.
Then the Creator bent down,
And He gave His child a kiss.
He breathed the breath of life into him,
Before giving Adam real bliss.
For after Adam stood up,
And walked around Creation,
He noticed something was missing,
His very close relation.
So God put man in a deep sleep,
And took rib from his side,
And created the perfect companion,
To be his soul-mate, bride.
And as they breathed out CO2,
Our Edenic first pair,
Took oxygen from plants,
And breathed in the fresh air.
And thus was it started,
For the man and his wife,
The exchange of the elements,
In the cycle of life.
