Biblical definitions test the transitions
and will of one’s relations to choose
right from wrong,
Upheld is religion
Bombarding competition,
all vying for the top spot
God’s words are specific,
his counterpart’s are vindictive
using sparkling champagne through your veins
to barrage you
Belief, in Evil you do practice
if not a sinner you’re not active
in the erudition that comes with study
Out he holds his hand,
not red and ‘devilish’
as portrayed by man
but he looks, like you
Entrusting your fate to yourself
not just good, but yourself you fail
when crossing over to the alluring limelight
Since its fame you crave
its evils shall be your grave
readily providing perfect illusionists
so that you aren’t forced to face your demons

Poetry: Demons
by Lady Cynthia
The Demon King
Restless shadows struggling wildly in the currents wind,
Icy fingers of death await the journeys end.
Lightnings
I see that look, I know that stare
Your eyes are glazed, you are not there
The words are slurred, your face is red
Heavy
A fire burns in the dark
A light for the darkened
A cold wind blows on high
Trees creak in the gust
A figure moves in
by Moeze Lalji
Demons
My boy
Are after children
Who go out
At night alone
Who don't do
Their homework
Who don't listen
To teachers and parents
What
by Lou Ruggieri
The world is quiet, or so it seems
And another day dies, banished to memory
I slip into a world that used to be for dreams
