On September 11, 2001, 19 foreigners armed only with their cunning, their burning hatred of freedom and some box-cutters defeated the most organized military law enforcement network on the planet, (whose funding and manpower were virtually unlimited) and then defeated the most technologically advanced air defense system on the planet, resulting in perfectly symmetrical collapses of three skyscrapers and the partial destruction of the most highly secure military installation in the world.  

Incidentally, in 1945 a 10 ten ton plane crashed into the Empire State Building and inflicted minor cosmetic damage.  In 2001, a plane of nearly the same mass and volume hit the building and caused it to collapse at freefall speed in minutes, shattering into dust and tiny fragments.

Around 8 A.M. that morning, just a couple of hours before the collapse of the twin towers, the former head of CIA Porter Goss, was in a meeting at the White House with former ISI director Mahmud Ahmad, the same Mahmud Ahmad who was later discovered to have wired $100,000 to the ringleader of the 9/11 hijackers, Mohammed Atta.  It arouses my suspicion that a U.S. congressman was meeting with the financier of the 9/11 hijackers.  On the morning of 9/11.   At the White House.

Whenever I express doubt about the official conspiracy theory (OTC) of the 9/11 Commission, there are two points that inevitably follow. The first is, why? Why would agents of our own government allow such an atrocity to happen? 

The second is how could it be possible that any of the insiders who had foreknowledge of the event, or who conspired to bring it about, have not blown the lid off the whole thing by now? Surely someone would have gone public, right?

Before I address those points, let me state the most glaring piece of illogic that stands head and shoulders above the other nonsense offered up by the OTC, which is how everybody found somewhere else to be that day. Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld, Rice, Tenet, Clark - those who were charged with our nation's security - were AWOL on the morning of 9/11.

Not a single one of them assumed a command post. Rumsfeld actually locked himself in his office, hid under the desk and refused to open his door or answer his phone. None of them were ever punished; in fact those whose negligence allowed the attack were promoted and stunningly, Bush was re-elected.

Now, I am not advocating any theory in particular. I simply find the official theory
