{A Soft Slumber}
I'm being taken to a world that exists
Only in the Darkest Corner
I fight with every fiber and
Muscle against it
I scream so loud I'm sure I've
Stripped a chord
As I struggle I think about
The horrors within the world
Monsters, beasties and other
Things to frightening to mention
Terrible, horrible situations
Await me with
An insight into myself as the prize
For surviving
I'm growing weary from the battle
And I'm losing consciousness
As I drift off toward the
Morose and evil
World
As I let the tiredness take over
I fall into a soft slumber
