Confronted with deep questions
About my existence, I ask
“Why am I here?” “Why did I exist?”
I closed my eyes and pondered,
“To be born one day just die someday?”
I went on to question myself,
“So what is love?”
“What’s the purpose of having someone to love me?”
And I questioned God,
“Do you love me?”
And finally I ask,
“Why then did I exist?”
“To love somebody?”
“Or to spend the rest of my life
Searching for love?”
