It was a beautiful, sunny day in early spring in the town of Mt. Olive. Celina gazed out of her window wishing she could go hiking up the tall mountain that her town was named after but she did want to go by herself. The phone rang suddenly which jolted Celina out of her day dream it was her friend Jamie. Jamie wanted to know if Celina wanted to go hiking up the mountain with Jamie, her boyfriend and his friend. "This is not another blind date is it?" said Celina frustrated. "No," Jamie explained, "Celina you are my best friend and I know you are sitting in the house staring out of the window wishing you could enjoy the nice weather." Celina agrees and they meet at the bottom of the mountain.

Jamie introduces Chad, her boyfriend's friend, to Celina. Chad immediately likes Celina but she is not really in the mood to get to know anyone after her horrible break up with her previous boyfriend one year ago. However, Celina decides to be nice since Jamie went through all the trouble. It wasn't that he was not attractive, he was very attractive, but Celina was not interested. Jamie and her boyfriend, John, start walking together and Celina is with Chad. After a couple of miles going up the mountain it starts to get a little steep. They come up on a cave that looks safe enough for them to rest in. The four friends are in the cave enjoying each others company when suddenly the ground begins shake and before they know it the opening is closed in with huge rocks. "A rock slide!" yells Celina, Jamie and John. Chad is calm because he has been in the situation before. Chad pulls out his flash light and looks at the map. He sees that there is another way out of the cave but it was ten miles. It was either stay and wait for help or go ten miles deeper into the cave. They all agreed to go the ten miles because it was no telling how long it would take for help to come.

During the ten mile hike in the cave Celina stayed close to Chad. Eventually Celina started to open up to him and he opened up to her. They decided that when they got out of the cave they would date because they were starting to fall in love. After many hours of walking and resting the group finally saw the opening to the cave. They ran out of the cave as fast as they could. When they were out they decided to have another friend come pick them up because they were so tired. Chad and Celina dated for several months after that until he proposed. They are planning on having a wedding outside next to the mountain. Even though it was a dangerous hiking trip, Celina was glad she went because deep in the mountains she found love.
