Mountain Hare
Thought I grew up just like you
Born of mountains and rabbits.
Thought I grew up just like you
Born of grey smog and dirty habits.
Not from here, not from there
I was born as the wall came down.
Not from here, not from there
I was born as the bombs hit town.
Thought I grew up just like you
But I'm really a scared mountain hare.
Thought I grew up just like you
I'm really grown up now I swear?
Do I stay brown or white?
Malt my earned colours out of spite?
Do I stay brown or white?
Malt my earned colours?
Out of Spite?

that I was certain about being
