What would mornings be without a cup of tea? How would Britain run without the steaming cup that cheers? If you need to buy a Christmas present for a tea lover, here are a few suggestions.
It might seem a peculiar thing to say but tea tastes much better from a thin porcelain mug than from a thick, heavy earthenware one. Older people might prefer a fine porcelain cup and saucer.
Does your tea lover spend time alone? A porcelain tea set for one makes a nice gift and means that you do not have to use a big teapot for just one cup of tea. These sets usually consist of a small teapot and a cup and saucer. Tea filters and infusers might also make a nice gift.
Specialty teas and tea selection boxes are available in specialist tea stores or on line by mail order.
Books about tea or a recipe book for afternoon tea items would be an excellent gift.
A gift basket is always an acceptable gift. You could make up a basket and include any of the above items. You could also put some home made cookies in your gift basket and a recipe for tea loaf.

Chamomile tea is relaxing, calming and helps you to sleep. Other herbal teas are refreshing and enlivening. Do be aware that some herbal teas are not considered safe for anyone who is pregnant.
Your tea lover may collect tea caddies, caddy spoons, teapots, tea sets tea strainers or other tea related items.
Elizabeth Arden offer a range of beauty products called "Green Tea Revitalise". The products use the naturally anti-oxidants in green tea to protect and smooth the skin. "Escale a Pondichery", Christian Dior's new fragrance mixes jasmine, sandalwood and black tea.
According to the United Kingdom Tea Council, the proper name for a tea lover is a 'tassophile.' These are just few suggestions for gifts for the tassophile in your life; perhaps they have inspired you to think of some more.
