As a person who spends a lot of time online there are many sites out there that I love. Everything from game sites, to music sites, to free books online, but there are a few sites that stand out for me, and I spend a lot of time on them.
My first favorite site would have to be Pandora.com. I love a large variety of music and I don't like to hear a bunch of crappy music over and over such as what plays on the radio. Pandora gives me the ability to choose my stations based on songs and/or artists that I love. It's very easy to navigate and their database of music seems to be inexhaustible. They offer forty hours of free listening a month, or a low fee of 36.00 for a year of uninterrupted music. This site is a definite must for music fans.
Another of my favorites is Pogo.com. With the ability to choose between tons of completely free games, or joining ClubPogo and adding even more great games ad free, Pogo is a great site for people who like browser based games. They have many different genres, including card and board games, puzzle games, sports games, and many more. They offer an RSS news feed so you can keep up to date on new games and contests on the site as well. For every game you play you receive an opportunity to spin the "Jackpot Spinner" and win prizes or cash. You can also use the tokens you earn during game play to enter in the daily, weekly and monthly drawings for cash prizes. The best thing is that you don't have to be a ClubPogo member to enjoy any of the benefits, it's all free.
Lastly, but certainly not least, I love Horrormasters.com. This site has a ton of online books and stories in the horror genre. Their authors range from Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft to Henry James and Rudyard Kipling. The site is very easy to navigate and put together well. For anyone who loves horror stories this is a good place to find them. If you have a penchant for ghost stories or the more macabre you will find it at Horrormasters.com.
There are many other sites I could recommend, but these three definitely top the list for me. I hope you may get enjoyment out of them as well.
