Are there two Gods: One for the poor and one for the rich?

God the Father, God the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit. This makes up the trinity, but It still comes out to One God, and only One. The very first verse of the Bible says, "In the beginning God" He was the only one who existed. He formed all that came after.

Man has tried all through the years to take credit for all that he has. What he owns, and how much money he has accumulated, one way or another. The possessions that he claims are not rightly his own, but come from the Father, who is God Almighty.

The soil belongs to God. The water comes from God, The seeds come from God, All that we have, has been provided by God for all men, not just the rich ones who can afford to buy land that also comes from God. A poor man may not be able to buy and sell like a rich man, but he could do honest labor for his wage. If people would just help each other out, there would be more for everybody.

If a man chooses not to work, and has nothing to eat, it becomes his problem. The Father said in His word, that if man doesn't work, he doesn't eat. But God does not look on one as better than the other.

God loves all of His children and does not look at them as rich or as poor. He looks at them in love. He looks on the heart, not on the outside. He sees them as they are whether in poverty or wallowing in riches.

Remember when the rich young man came to Jesus, and wanted to know how to be saved. Jesus answered him with"Take all you have and sell it and give it to the poor, then take up your cross and follow me." The rich man was sad at what Jesus said, for he was not willing to give up his material riches and follow Jesus. The world is full of people that have way more than they will ever spend, but they would walk away before they would give a quarter to a poor man. How this must grieve the heart of God.

God does not love the rich for their money nor does he look down on the poor because they have little to nothing. God asks us to love one another as He loves us. To me, that means sharing with a brother who has less than what we have. I do it. Material items are not what makes my world revolve.

I want to give you the words of a song, sung by Linda Randyl. " The God on the mountain, is still God in the valley, When things go wrong, He'll make them right, And the God of the good times, is still God in the bad times, The God of the day is still God in the night." God would like nothing more than to see the rich brother lend a hand to the poor brother. he sure won't be able to take it to Heaven with him, if he gets to go at all.

We have one God with enough love for the whole world. I just don't understand how people can turn their backs on God one day, then call on Him another day for help. What if God only answered one prayer a year. You'd better make it good.

I'm seeing more food pantry's going in, I'm seeing more organizations at work to help the poor, I'm hoping there is more understanding of the economical crisis, as some of those with money are starting to feel the pinch. God knows what He's doing.
