Many people are on a budget in these difficult times. Despite price limitations, however, you can still get great gifts for children in the $10 to $25 range. The following are just a few ideas for nice gifts that won't break the bank.
Dolls - Many girls love dolls, and they can be a relatively inexpensive toy. If you go to a toy store such as Toys R Us or to a general store such as Wal-Mart, Target, Kmart or a department store, you will find a wide variety of dolls, many in the $10-$25 price range. There are many different dolls suitable for children of different ages. Many of the dolls come with different accessories. Also, if the child already has a doll, you can spend your budget on accessories for a doll that the child might like such as a play doll crib or stroller. Many of these are also available at very reasonable costs. Dolls come in many forms. You can get a baby doll or a Barbie doll. You will want to be careful to get an age-appropriate doll. Dolls can be even be appropriate for boys. Many boys like action figures of the popular characters such as Superman, Batman, etc.
Books - Books can be a wonderful gift for children in that they can be both fun and educational. If you go to the bookstore, you will find many books suitable for kids of all ages, and many within the $10 to $25 price range. You can get fiction or non-fiction in whatever genre interests the child for which you are buying. Obviously you could also get several smaller books to add up to the total that you wish to spend.
Craft kits - Many children like doing crafts and there are many kits you can buy at craft stores such as Michaels and at more general stores such as Target. You can buy crafts for boys or girls. Crafts can be fun, and they can allow the child to make something they can be proud of. The have kits for making jewelry such as beading kits, kits to paint different objects, and many other items. Again, make certain to look at the recommended age levels so that you do not get something too complicated or too simple for your child.
There are many gifts you can get for a child this Christmas in the $10-$25 range. Dolls, books and craft kits are just a few that kids might enjoy.
