Bless Fingers
Five finger stretch to share a sweet tale's joy,
Broken a bad crash left a young, frightened boy.
Sirens bring the one to help to keep his life,
The first finger gives comfort from the strife.
Pain reminds of the trouble around,
One gental kneels beside him on the ground.
A hand grabs his to bring comfort near,
This one deed does the most to calm his fear.
The second finger does its precious deed,
The call comes and it rushes to her need.
Tools only work when hands provide a guide,
This finger helps the woman's tears to be dried.
The third on hand reaches to lift the man,
When the life is lost she holds his cold hand.
A widow cries but comfort is already near,
The finger touches to calm the new fear.
The next races when called to a tragic place,
A senior life is saved by her race.
The hand quickly performs the needed deeds,
Later the finger gives help for emotional needs.
The last waits until called to care,
One's need for comfort keeps the fingers there.
Her partners have felt the work's stress,
But one hand's fingers are provided to bless.
