Worlds Away
Above us a shooting star,
trailing its mercurial light
just as I hold onto my wishes
my memories
and your tears are illuminated
by the gentle glow
but they were not made for me I know
they will not fall
as our hands cling to each other
with the smallest
gravitational pull in the universe
I will miss you
