As everyone knows, losing weight depends on two main factors - how much calories is taken in and how much is used up each day of our lives. To attain loss of weight, the amount of calories used each day must exceed the amount of calories taken in. This means that to we would have to both exercise and watch our diet in order to lose weight. As for the topic, I believe that working out in a 24-hour fitness location does not improve one's ability to lose weight. Not only that, it might cause the reverse and cause weight increase instead.
How would it cause weight gain you might ask? Let me explain it to you. Humans get cravings anytime of the day, morning, afternoon and at night. When you get a craving while you are trying to lose weight, you might tell yourself about the extra mile you might have to run on the treadmill tomorrow or the extra sit-ups you might have to bear the next day on your exercise routine if you give in to these cravings and temptations. Hence, this might stop you from taking that extra piece of cake or that extra can of soft drink. However, when you have a 24-hour workout centre, one might use it as an excuse to eat more. One might say "It is okay, I can just go workout later." which to most of us would not happen if the snack happened near midnight. Doesn't this make losing weight harder?
Another problem 24-hour workout locations might pose to losing weight is that we might just postpone our workout, not on a day by day basis, but on a hourly basis, which seems a lot more easier to do. This would hence cause our weight loss regime to fall further and further. Hence, there would not be an improvement to the ability to lose weight.
However, I believe that the main factor to effective weight loss is the determination to achieve the wanted results. When there is proper amount of determination, even if there isn't an appropriate time to exercise, we would still dig time out of our tight schedule for that precious twenty minutes of work out.
In conclusion, I would like to say that having a 24-hour fitness location does not improve anyone's ability to lose weight. The most important factor to us losing weight is determination.
