Top ideas for inexpensive Father's Day gifts

Fathers day can be a day where the child spends thirty dollars or less for dad and he will be happy! Many times, a son or daughter will go out and spend a ton of money that they don't have and pick a gift that a father may not have even wanted. Safe bets are the best and usually, safe bets are not expensive! There are three things that every father would always like to have and if the limit is thirty dollars, all three of these can be bought:

1) A hand written note! Dads like notes! This may be the most important Father's Day gift that a son or daughter can buy because a note can express the gratitude that they want to express. Gifts are silent and cannot give thanks! Notes are free and can be very powerful! Sometimes, words written down on a piece of paper to a father, have no price tag! The note is priceless and is worth far more than any gift one could buy. A letter is a keeper and will hold the power of a good memory for years to come!

2) A nice pen! A "bic" pen probably wouldn't be appropriate, but a "cross" or "Parker" with the name engraved could possible be a great gift for dad. Nice pens range from ten to thirty dollars, depending on the budget one has. Many times, Office Depot or Office Max will have a clearance rack for pens and that is a great, inexpensive gift to get dad. If engraving comes under the budget, that is only another five dollar cost. "I love you, dad" or "Happy Father's Day", would be good ideas for engraving!

3) Gift cards! Sometimes, it is hard to know what dad wants, so a gift card is guaranteed to satisfy! Gift cards are like buffets: choose what you want! It is better to know dad was happy with his gift than the fact that he couldn't fit into what was bought! Gift cards are great ideas and range from ten dollars to a thousand, depending on where they are purchased.

Father's day does not have to put a son or daughter in debt! Thirty dollars or maybe even forty can buy quality gifts and definitely make the father feel proud! The whole purpose of Father's day is to show appreciation to dad and a high priced item doesn't always do that!
