The question is: Is it healthy to find school friends on My space or Face book after a peaceful 15 years without them?

My answer is No It isn't healthy it just brings back old times

I graduated from High School in 1982, I was the fat, ugly , unpopular girl in High School. It has been over 27 years since I graduated from High School and you would think that my former classmates would of changed, they would of matured . No, it is still the same as High School, the cliques will always be the cliques. the unpopular kids will always be the unpopular kids. I did a little experiment when I had my face book, I wanted to see how many of my former classmates have matured and they no longer see me as the ugly , fat, unpopular girl I was and would accept my friendship, so I went to the page that had all of my former classmates and I requested all of their friendships out of 50 former classmates, I had about 20 accept my friendship. So I am still the unpopular girl. It makes you remember High school which wasn't a good time for me and I would like to forget about it. If you had good friends in High School you would keep in touch. There was a guy and two girls on my face book that were friends in High school and they kept in touch, they still act like they acted in High School,

I was listening to my radio station one day and the disc jockey was talking about getting a face book and a my space and having his former high school classmates as friends. He said that same thing, it is like going back to High School, The jocks are still the jocks, the cheerleaders are still the cheerleaders, the geeks are still the geeks.

So it is very unhealthy to get a Face book or a My space and trying to find school friends thinking that they will be different and accept you because it has been awhile since you graduated from High School. Trust me it will be the same. The people that didn't like you in High School will not like you now. Don't try to fit in where you do not belong, Do not let people make you feel inferior. The best thing I ever did was deactivate my face book and completely forget about my High School years. I am 46 years old, I don't have the best life but there are people who have it worse than me.
