Within the darkness I hear him creep...
I see him peek.
My breathing heavy...
I can no longer speak.
Stumbling in the blackness of the night
He senses that I'm afraid...
He feeds off of my fright.
A sweaty palm upon my thigh...
I lie still when inside I cry.
A child-
Innocent and pure;
A sicko-
Desperate to score.
My mind is racing- no situation seems to compare.
God! Please don't let him touch me there!
How could you do this to me?
I'm only nine...
I'll never be okay now, I'll never be fine.
Daddy, help me please
Make this pain end.
Mommy, please...
I need your help, I need my best friend.

Our child’s friend moved away,

As my daughter softly
by Bai Maleiha
Hush my child hush
Wipe those tears
In your pretty eyes
Let mother embrace
your fragile soul
Hush my child hush
Mother is here
