Tim Tebow will have a career in the NFL. Ten years back he would not. Even five years ago he would not have had a chance. But now with the emergence of the Wildcat, a person like Tebow, who is a perfect fit for a wildcat offense, can get a chance to shine.
A place like Miami would really need him. That way they can add a passing attack to the wildcat. He can run and throw and some people are talking about that he can catch. That would make it possible to do reverse throws to him. The offense would really be dynamic and almost unstoppable.
If trainers would be able to teach him how to throw in a pocket, then he could be a every down player. What I think a team should do with him when they draft him is that I think they should implement the wildcat fully. About forty years ago the shotgun was new and people didn't use it on every down.
Now a days people use the shotgun everyday. Therefore I think that the wildcat can be used as a everyday system. That way Tebow could be in the NFL. Although there are some down sides to Tebow. One, he takes to many hits which in the NFL, can lead to him being injured more often. He also has an average arm which would make people want to not pick him until later.
But I think if a team would pick him up in the top 10, then he might be considered one of the best draft steals of the NFL draft. Although if a team does not stick with the wildcat, then Tebow will not be a good quarterback. But if a team such as Tampa bay, who has a young team decides to spend a few years perfecting the offense, then Tebow would be a great fit there and would not be considered a bust.
I do not think that Tebow would be a good quarterback in a regular system. If a team made him a drop back quarterback, then he would not be a good quarterback. He might be a pro bowl quarterback one day. It's just amazing how the wildcat and Tebow both came at the same time. Now Tebow, who if there was no wildcat, would not be even talking about a future NFL prospect is widely talked about.
