Her love looms about him
Like the mist
Above a vast ocean
In the early light
The scent of her
Still lingers in the air
A soft, sweet musk
And he just can't get enough of it
He sets his hand adrift
Over graceful curves
They rise and fall like waves
He watches her
In her still and silent sleep
Keeping vigil for signs of stirring
At the heat of his touch
Then a gasp for breath
And he slips a hand
Beneath her arching back
He pulls her close
They sink into a deep warm kiss
The rolling tides of passion
Wash over them
Hearts flood with yearning
They sail in seas of desire
The gale force of longing
Cannot be withstood
He moves to take her
And with convergence of the bodies
They are rocked
By storms of pleasure
He is her lifeline
She clings to him
As she would cling
To life itself
His embrace is strong
He shares with her his breath
Until they are lost
To the peaceful depths
Of ecstasy
And their souls rest
Submersed in love
