I've been here before,
A time or two, at least.
It's not that I'm keeping score,
But, I'm always looking for something more.
When I see that road sign,
Chills run up my spine.
My palms begin to sweat,
But I'm not even there yet!
It's like my heart remembers,
The pain from last September.
I don't even need to see your face,
I feel your presence in this place.
I can't stay here for long,
I know my heart's not that strong.
I should be leaving soon,
Drive home by the light of the full moon.

Poetry: I've been here before
by Chance Motta
Haunting in my dreams it leads me back and fourth
I've heard those words before, felt this touch before
This place I've been
I've been here before;
I know that smile of yours all too well.
The way you hold my hand
Brings to my heart a familiar swell.

LOVE EQUATION
There is a simple equation
That has confused a few
Where the amount of love
Someone feels for you
Is inversely
There are sometimes people
Who quite get under your skin.
You don't know how you've known them,
Or even where or when.
Was it
I've been here before,
A time or two, at least.
It's not that I'm keeping score,
But, I'm always looking for something more.
