Day 1

I am not telling you where I am. I am not telling you what day is today. It simply is day 1 in my journal, though you must know this is not the beginning of my journey. I have been trying to hide from my curse since I was a child, and nothing worked. They always come back to haunt me. They came back yesterday, and my family could not bear having a girl like me living under the same roof. My aunt Lavinia was the only one who accepted me, and to her house I am heading tonight. I just hope I will not make her suffer like I did to my parents.

Diana

Day 2

When my bus departed from the bus station yesterday, it was raining. It rained as if the entire sky was melting down and intensely dripping on Earth. My parents and my younger sister cried. I am sorry, I am sorry, they repeated on an on, touching my face with cold fingers. I did not cry, I refused to cry. I remained sitting still and silent until they announced my bus, and walked through the boarding gate without looking back.

My mother shouted my name and I finally turned. She looked so small, and fragile with my father's arm around her shoulders. I waited to listen to her ask me to stay. I waited, and waited... until she raised a hand, and one more time said I am sorry. I tried my best, but I could not be mad at that weak figure that my mother had turned out to be because of me. I bowed with my head, and left quickly, pulling the hood of my jacket on my head to protect me from the rain.

First I tried to sleep, but I couldn't. I looked at the lights of my city staying behind my way, and said goodbye. Will I ever come back to my town? I desperately miss it already, but I must face my new life here, where as many lights and pollution do not exist; where it is absurdly green and silent oppressively silent. Soon became very dark outside, and it looked like the rain wouldn't stop.

I was tired and needed to relax. I had tried to look strong since my parents' decision to send me to aunt Lavinia's house in another town, but the truth is that I felt as if my legs could barely sustain my body. My thoughts were also killing me inside, and I bet a part of me in fact died. So I closed my eyes, and tried to relax my muscles... I was almost falling asleep, getting lost somewhere between this world and dreamland, when I heard him. His dry voice next to my left ear brought me back. His voice brought back the aberration that I am.

- Diana... I am going with you he said. He did not mean to comfort me. He never does. He laughs
