Although there are many famous galleries around the world, none are necessarily "the best". Just as no work of art is the best in the world, neither is a museum. If you are a Modern Art fan, the Tate Gallery in London is amazing. Housing works by Lichtenstein, Warhol, Dali, and numerous other Op Art/ Modern artists, the Tate is sure to satisfy. The Guggenheim Museum in New York contains works from Impressionist, Surrealists, Modern Artists, and many more. Of course, the well-known Louvre in Paris houses nearly everything imaginable. It true that it would take one person weeks to thoroughly view each work of art, but it is by far worth it. If you are aware of what style of art you like, then researching for museums particular to that would be an excellent choice. If you do not know what kind of art you enjoy, then any museum will suffice in aiding you to form your own artistic opinions.
