The Angels from Our Past

When I was growing one of the wisest advices I received was to always make sure to receive my elders' benediction, their blessings will go a long way, I was told. Strangely after receiving that advice, I have begun to see these people have experienced things of this earth I was yet to experience as indeed very valuable to me and people from whom I could learn a great deal from their well of knowledge.

It's funny how we look to big signs to be the lighthouse in our lives and yet we fail to notice the smallest ones. I remember not too recently, I used to wish I could see angels, I could have at least one to come and guide and protect me. In my frustration, I turned to a friend and told her how I was longing to have a sign from God that He loved me so much as to send me an angel. She replied, unsettled surprisingly enough by what I had thought would be seen as so weird, that angels in fact to walk with me every day and that I can even come to touch, hear and see them; I could even become one if I wanted to. I looked at her all baffled from what I had just heard and asked her to please elaborate. She said the best we can do, is always make sure that we are in tune, connected, aware of the right attentions of others and let them affect us. But in order for that to happen she had, we must be open to receive their good intentions.

I asked her; still not sure of what she was talking about, of how was I to get to see those good intentions. She said, when you will be open to receive them, you will come to see them through everything, in the simple hello that someone give you, you will find their hugs much needed and smothering like a hand literally massaging your heart and soul. You will see in through smiles, laughers but most of all, through what they say to you. Your daily exchanges with people will become like answers to your prayers. You will be surprise at first by the coincidence of all of this that you will come to doubt the timing of all of this but coincidence doesn't repeat itself as many times as it will as soon as you will get yourself tune in to that positive intervention of the people around you.

She finished saying all of that with such a serene smile that could only let me to give it a try, after all I was so keen to see and touch those angels whom she was talking about. Dr Wayne W. Dyer in his book The Wisdom of the Ages, give such a compelling introduction which find the right juxtaposition with what I went to experience after
