Appetizers are a great way to hold off your hunger until Christmas dinner. There are plenty of appetizers that you could do for Christmas. So here are some ideas for appetizers:

Pigs in the blanket

Pigs in the blanket are good, filling, cheap and easy to make. Everyone likes a good pig in the blanket! You could have some with cheese and some plain.

Deviled eggs

Who doesn't love a deviled egg? Almost everyone likes deviled eggs and they are easy to make, cheap and a good holiday food to have. Almost anyone would love having deviled eggs as a appetizer. Even if you are having them with your dinner, you could still have a couple for a appetizer. You could make them a different way for the appetizer and dinner. My family loves deviled eggs, and we just never have enough of these.

Cookies

Cookies are a great holiday treat. You could make Christmas cookies! Make them in shapes of a Christmas tree with sprinkles, or other Christmas shapes. They are good, and everyone loves to have Christmas cookies. What is a Christmas without Christmas cookies?

Peanut butter balls

My family loves peanut butter balls. They are sweet, a holiday tradition, and everyone loves them. Even though they take a while to make and are kind of a hassle to make your family will greatly appreciate it.

Cheese and crackers

Everyone likes cheese and crackers and they are always nice to have. You could even buy the pre sliced cheese if you can afford it. This is a very easy simple appetizer that people would love.

Vegetable tray with dip

Something good to eat and easy to pick at. You could even have different dips to go along with the vegetables. You could buy a vegetable tray or make our own.

Ham or turkey biscuits

If you are not doing ham or turkey for Christmas dinner then you could do ham or turkey biscuits. They are good, filling but not too filing and go along with Christmas dinner.

Chewy Charlie's

Another holiday tradition that everyone loves. Not to hard to make and I'm sure your family and loved ones will eat them up.

Anything that people can pick at are good appetizers. They can eat it while chatting with loved ones and playing games or watching television. What ever your holiday traditions are your appetizers will be a hit. Think about the foods that you are having for dinner and think about what will go with those foods. Think about what your family and loved ones would like to eat as appetizers.
