Yet all my life I've never seen such beauty or such grace
I stood among the prairie flowers watching wind
And then i saw among the plains the face of him

His face of icy loveliness, of grace his feet
He looked into my eyes and he said "come away"
I noticed then his hand outstretched for me
I knew his name was Death, his grip was fear
Yet I cared naught but not to tarry here
Never have I tasted things sweeter than this
But gladly I accept his hand and give him my first kiss.
