Writing on helium has been a fun and exciting pastime for my entire household. One can submit articles that pertain to an area of expertise, on opinion, and in creative writing. It is an excellent way to hone ones writing skills.

To begin, read other articles in many subjects to get a feel for how article writing is being done. Be sure to read all the articles in this section, each has it's own merits on how to write a helium article. Be sure that any knowledge that you add is correct. If you do not know how to knit, it is probably not a good idea to write an article about knitting. In my own case, I am a mechanic, so I tend to write most of my articles in the servicing cars section, and try to impart knowledge that is helpful to others.

Opinion articles are different, we all have opinions! I would say that it would be impolite to slam other writers opinions in your article however. Always stay concise, to the point.

Creative writing is just that, and just about anything goes. A great way to let the poet in yourself out!

Sentence, paragraph, and overall structure is key! Have an opening and closing statement. Make sure paragraphs are separated by subject. Spell check, spell check, SPELL CHECK! This cannot be overemphasized, we all make typo's, and need to spell check to avoid publishing them.

Punctuation is important as well. It makes it easier for a reader to understand an article almost as much as proper spelling does. Try not to overuse exclamation points. Do not use multiple punctuations, such as this !

The most important part is to have fun! Don't expect to get rich, write about topics you enjoy, and you will write better articles. Don't just hunt for a popular subject to write about, unless it is something you be able to enjoy.

No matter what you are interested in writing, Helium has a place for you. Try to do your best for helium, and helium will do its best for you. Have fun!
